About the training sessions
We're offering two streams; one for school leaders, and the other for those responsible for integrating AI. You can choose which one is best for you during your onboarding call with our team. Over the course of the four weeks we’ll be covering a variety of topics relating to AI leadership and governance relevant to your role. From understanding why it is important to govern the use of AI, due to privacy, ethical and safeguarding concerns, to how to do this in practice, through vendor and risk management, policies and procedures and how to communicate these standards to staff and students at your school.
Beginning with an overview of the course and an introduction to the 9ine team supporting you, this session will outline how AI Governance Essentials will equip you with the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to cultivate a safe, ethical and compliant AI culture within your school. We’ll also provide a practical orientation of Academy LMS and a high-level summary of the topics we will be covering as part of your pathway.
Before beginning the second phase of the program, this session serves as a critical learning checkpoint, offering a reflective forum to address progress to date, engage in expert Q&A, and preview the learning content for the final two weeks of the course.
By this final session, participants will have amassed a comprehensive blueprint for AI governance relevant to their role. The program concludes with reflections on the course, expert Q&A and a clear roadmap for long-term AI literacy, ensuring that you leave with the confidence to lead and govern AI at your school.
When will I be able to use my Academy LMS Guest Passes?
Your Academy LMS Guest Pass will be set up once you have had your onboarding session with a member of the 9ine team. You’ll be able to use your Guest Pass up until Friday 6th March 2026. What if I have a question about the course content, or about AI governance in education in general?
You will be able to ask our experts questions in our live Q&A sessions, or you can send them ahead of these sessions to support@9ine.com and we will make sure that they are covered.
What happens if I can’t make the Kick-Off Session, Learning Checkpoint or Wrap-Up Session?
Attendance of these sessions is not mandatory, but attendance will support you in getting the most out of the course and allow you to ask any questions to our experts if you have them. Recordings of the sessions will be made available but you will need to register for the session to access them.
