Privacy Policy - Webinar Series Registration
Who we are
This webinar series is organised by 9ine (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are the data controller for the personal data you provide when you register.
If you have questions about this notice or how we use your information, contact:
support@9ine.com

When you sign up to the webinar series, we collect:

- Registration preferences (e.g., sessions selected)
- Attendance and engagement data (e.g., whether you attended, Q&A submissions, poll responses)
- Technical data (e.g., IP address/device and log data) collected by our webinar platform/provider
How we use your information
We use your personal data to:

- Respond to queries and manage Q&A
- Understand attendance and improve future webinars
- Maintain a record of who attended for compliance and reporting
Sharing your information with participating organisations
By registering, you understand that we will share your registration details with participating organisations involved in delivering or supporting the webinar series (together, “Participating Organisations”). This may include organisations such as:
- 9ine
- AAIE
- CIS (Council of International Schools)
- and other participating partners and speakers for this series (as applicable)
What we share: typically your name, email address, job title and organisation (and, where relevant, which sessions you registered for/attended).
Why we share: so Participating Organisations can (i) administer the series, (ii) provide relevant resources, and (iii) contact you about the webinar content and related professional information.
Each Participating Organisation will act as an independent data controller for the personal data they receive and will handle it in line with their own privacy notices and policies.
Marketing and communications
- We may contact you with information directly related to the webinar series (service messages).
- Where Participating Organisations want to send you marketing (e.g., future events, services, membership information), they must have a lawful basis to do so. In practice this will usually be consent or legitimate interests (depending on the message and your location).
- You can opt out of marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe link in emails or contacting the relevant organisation directly.
Lawful basis for processing
We process your personal data because it is:
- Necessary for the performance of a contract (to register you and provide access to the webinars); and/or
- In our legitimate interests (to run and improve the series, manage attendance, and provide relevant professional follow-up); and/or
- Based on your consent where required (for certain marketing communications and cookies/analytics, depending on context).
International transfers
Some Participating Organisations and webinar service providers may be located outside the UK. If your personal data is transferred internationally, we will ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
Your rights
You may have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion (where applicable)
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Data portability (in certain cases)
- Withdraw consent (where processing relies on consent)
To exercise your rights, contact support@9ine.com
You can also complain to the UK regulator: the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Webinar platform/provider
We use Zoom to host the webinars and manage registrations. The platform may process certain technical and usage data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
