Session 3
About this session

The Educators AI Playbook is a monthly briefing for school leaders and educators, hosted by Mark Orchison, Founder & CEO of 9ine, and Dan Fitzpatrick, the internationally recognised strategist known as The AI Educator. Session 3 moves beyond experimentation to focus on institutional strategy — tackling the "paralysis of decision-making" many schools face when moving from individual tool trials to organisation-wide AI deployment.

Guest speaker Dr. Mike Lubelfeld, Superintendent and co-author of Leading for Tomorrow's Schools Today, joins to share the CHANGE Framework — a six-step roadmap for moving from challenging the status quo to generating a shared vision for AI. Mike also unpacks the shift from asset versus deficit thinking, showing how schools can move past fears of "cheating" and hallucinations to embrace AI as an empowering tool for individualised learning.

The session covers what it takes to lead in the "messy middle" — why a tolerance for ambiguity is now a core leadership skill — alongside the usual monthly AI rundown of the latest tools and trends from Dan Fitzpatrick.
